Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) will hold Graduation Period I, 2021/2022 and period IV, 2020/2021 on Friday-Saturday (8-9) October 2021 at the Edutorium Building KH Ahmad Dahlan. strict health protocol.
The graduation this time, which was held Friday-Saturday, was divided into 3 sessions from 12 faculties at UMS with a total of 1,360 graduates, with details of Bachelor’s Degrees amounting to 1,314 and Postgraduates 46 people.
UMS Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sofyan Anif, M.Si. convey to the graduation participants both offline and online in order to maintain the good name of the alma mater and be able to realize their identity in the professional world by having good spirituality.
“Alumni are required to maintain the name of the alma mater and be able to realize their professional identity with good spirituality for the community and family,” said UMS Chancellor to the graduates.
UMS Graduation Activities apply the Covid 19 Health Protocol strictly with the condition that they attach evidence of antigen swabs from graduates.
Vice Chancellor I Prof. Dr. Drs. Harun Joko Prayitno, S.E., M.Hum. advised graduates who have undergone a period of education at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta to have IKI (Innovators, Creators, and Inventors) in carrying out their roles in society.
There are 41 Law Faculty graduates for the 1st period for the year 2021/2022. Some of the graduates chose to carry out the graduation procession offline.
Taking into account the circular letter of the Surakarta Regional Secretariat, the UMS graduation was only attended directly by 10% of the total capacity of the UMS KH Ahmad Dahlan Edutorium Building which under normal conditions can accommodate 10,000 people.
